![]() ![]() Friends are instantly jealous as soon as they see it and wrongly assume it cost twice what I paid for it. BIOS has decent feature set, such as boot order, etc. Full blown ibm-compatible machine, so you can run Linux, boot from USB flash drives and external hard drives. I was pleasantly surprised at the decent boot speed and overall performance. I've ditched my big, heavy laptop in its favor, and take it with me lots of places. The built-in tiny keyboard is useful for quick small entries if I don't have a Bluetooth keyboard handy. Overall Review: I use a Bluetooth mouse and various (full-size and folding) Bluetooth keyboards, so the nearly useless built-in mouse/joystick doesn't annoy me too much. It doesn't play DVD's in an external (3rd party) DVD drive very well, and the WiFi has rather short range, although it's always worked fine where I have a strong signal. The screen is bright and crisp, and it's got ports for everything I need, and good battery life (over 4 hours when new!)Ĭons: The built-in mouse/joystick is next to useless, and the tablet/touch screen features aren't very useful either. It's small and light and easy to carry,so even though I'm disabled, I can take it with me many places where a regular laptop would be too much. Pros: This is a great machine! As others have said, it's not too fast, but it's extremely capable, especially considering its size and weight.
